Martin Lannan enlisted on August 28, 1862 at the age of 34.
He was wounded by a ball through the hip in battle at
Chancellorsville, Virginia on May 3, 1863, but not seriously. He was
also wounded in the shoulder in battle at Pine Mountain, Georgia. , on June
15, 1864.
He was promoted to 1st Sergeant on May 11, 1865.
He was present at final muster.
