Walter K. Dixon enlisted on August 26, 1862 at the age of 26.
He received a flesh wounded in the arm at Chancellorsville, Virginia on May
3, 1863.
He was sent to the hospital from Atlanta, Georgia on November 7, 1864 and
was in the hospital at Madison, Indiana at final muster.
